3 Apps You Should Download Today! (Ad*)

Updated: Aug 25

One of my favourite things about technology is the fact that we have access to so many amazing resources at the touch of a button! Because of this, I'm always on the lookout for new apps that I can download on my phone that will help me be a better person daily. There are so many great apps out there, but that means it can be difficult to find the right ones for you, so I thought I'd share my top 3 apps that I'm loving at the minute!

1. Eco-Prints

Eco Prints is a brand-new app that is designed to bring together an eco-conscious community! Its main goals are to support a sustainable lifestyle and be a place where earth-lovers can come together to share tips and information about living an eco-friendly lifestyle. On the app you can find group forums, blog posts, facts, tips, and even an eco-friendly store!

Available: On Apple and Android App Stores

2. Ask Loma

"Buying new? Nah. #AskLomaFirst." Ask Loma is another brand-new app created to help people live an eco-friendly life. Created by a group of earth-loving uni students, this app is currently in its demo phase whilst they try to convince their uni to fund them. So, by trying this out not only are you helping to save the planet but you're also fighting The Man and proving that the world wants to be more sustainable! It's a win-win!

The app basically brings together a multitude of second-hand sites in one place, from Ebay to Depop to so many more! So, you can search for what you want quickly and easily without having to traverse multiple sites to find what you're looking for! It's a fantastic initiative and I hope to see this in App stores very soon!

3. DiveThru (AD*)

"Helping you DiveThru what you Go Thru"

Now for my absolute favourite app currently! DiveThru is a guided journaling app created to help you look inwards and develop yourself with a number of different 'Dives'.

Each Dive includes a guided introspection exercise based on the topic you have chosen. Then, you are given a journaling prompt and some time to write about how you are feeling. They get you to do this the good old-fashioned way with a pen and paper which I LOVE - and who doesn't need an excuse to buy a new notebook?! After that you have another guided exercise where you focus on how you feel after journaling, before summarising your entry with another prompt.

There are plenty of quick and deep dives, from a 6-day gratitude challenge to prompts for when you're feeling overwhelmed, or if you just want to check in. They even have certain categories, such as working life, parenthood, and relationships to name a few.

This has been incredibly helpful for me on my mindfulness journey as, although I love journaling, I often don't know where to start! The DiveThru prompts are amazing because they give you something to think about, without the risk of overwhelming you.

Everything found within the app is made by health professionals, so you know that you're going to be guided to do the very best for you! If you struggle to get your mind together, fancy focusing on your mental well-being, or you just want to do a bit of personal development then I would highly recommend this app!

If you check them out or you're currently using them then please let me know! I'd love to hear your thoughts! And, if you know of any other apps that I might like then get in touch!
